Zennie Gladstone Merrill

Zennie Gladstone Merrill, 88, of Morehead City, died Thursday November 29, 2012, at Croatan Ridge Center.
A funeral will be held 11:00 am Saturday at Munden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Darrell Williams and Dr. Jesse Croom officiating. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Park.
Zennie served in the US Army during WWII, and he was a member of First Baptist Church, and worked as a Long Shoreman for NC State Port.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years Pauline L. Merrill of the home: a granddaughter Melissa Rose Biernot of Augusta, GA: son in-law Duane Hensley of Augusta, GA:sisters Jeanette Morris of Beaufort, NC, Sally Tatarinowicz of New Bern, NC, and Maryann Dounhue of Havelock, NC.
He was preceded in death by a daughter Sandra Hensley and his parents Zennie and Sarah Merrill.
Visitation will be one hours prior to the service at Munden Funeral Home.
