Zakariah “Zak” Rose, 76, of Morehead City, passed away Friday, July 20, 2018, at Snug Harbor on Nelson Bay.
His funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 26, 2018, at the Munden Funeral Home Chapel. Interment, with Military Honors, will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Park.
Zak was born in Hartford, Connecticut on May 26, 1942. He was adopted by Leon and Marjorie Rose of Newington, CT after his father died. He was a retired U.S. Navy Culinary Specialist and Vietnam Veteran.
He is survived by his brother, Frederick Rose of Middletown, Connecticut.
He was predeceased in death by his wife, Patsy and will be buried next to her.
He enjoyed his many years in North Carolina very much. He leaves behind his friends especially Ray Reider and Ray's daughter Andrea.
Family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 26, 2018, at Munden Funeral Home.
