Mom was a dedicated wife, mother, Memaw, sister, and friend. Her heart was open to anyone, and she had never met a stranger. This sweet woman could make a friend, literally anywhere. Her children and grandchildren were her life. She enjoyed family FaceTime’s where the little ones would bounce around being silly as they talked. She loved to hear the stories of what the older ones were doing in their lives. She always made sure that they knew that they were special. Her sense of humor was very quirky, and it was certainly passed down. She was involved in a Clown ministry and dressed up in silly costumes to cheer others up. Our mother was an awesome cook and made some delicious Parmesan Chicken and homemade Mac & Cheese, as well as Pumpkin Pie. She loved butterflies, lighthouses, and Dr. Who. Her favorite foods were Canadian Maple Candies, Peeps, shrimp, turkey and mashed potatoes. She excelled at playing board games and loved watching Marvel movies. Mom had many skills and God given talents. She was a nurse by trade, but continued healing people in many ways after she retired. She lived as a devout Christian who ministered and brought many to Christ. She was a real Prayer Warrior. She had a compassionate giving spirit and was involved with the Crystal Coast Pregnancy Center for many years. Mom loved to paint and has made some masterpieces that we will treasure. She is now with her loving husband and heavenly Father dancing on the streets of gold. May her loving and caring testimony live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her!
She is survived by her daughters, Brenda Miller and husband George of Spanish Fort, AL and Christina M. White of Newport; son, Donald C. White, Jr. of Durham; brothers, Tom Harrington and wife Sue of Connecticut, Roy Harrington and wife Betty Jane of East Hampton, CT; and grandchildren, Sean Miller, Robert Miller, Micah Miller, Heather Miller, Luke Miller and Joshua Carney; great-grandchildren, Maddy Miller, Riley Grace Miller, Charlotte Miller, Ellie Rose Miller, Samuel Miller and Emmie Belle Miller; and nephew, Alan Harrington.
