Yvonne Goss Upchurch, 75, of Emerald Isle, passed away Sunday, August 21, 2016 at Harborview Health Care.
A graveside service will be held 12:30 pm Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at Montlawn Memorial Park in Raleigh with Rev. Terry Ellis officiating. The family request that attendees dress casually.
She worked for the Division of Motor Vehicles for over 30 years, and after retirement she moved to Emerald Isle. She loved to play Bingo and enjoyed traveling, and especially on the Carrier Air Conditioning incentive trips. She was a special lady who was loved by many.
She is survived by her boyfriend of 38 plus years, Eddie Turner of Emerald Isle; and Eddie’s children, Michael and his sons, Luke and Ben of Greenville; Kelly White and husband Scott and daughters, Addison and Emily of Fuquay Varina. Yvonne loved Eddie’s children and grandchildren as her own.
The family will receive friends following the graveside service at the cemetery.
