Yuli Cristel Angel Angel, 27, of Morehead City, North Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at Carteret Health Care after a long fight with Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia and Cystic Fibrosis. 

A funeral service to honor Yuli’s life will be held at 3:30 p.m., Sunday, September 29th at Munden Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Miguel Salazar. The family will receive friends one hour prior. Yuli will be laid to rest at 2 p.m., Sunday, October 13th at Gethsemane Memorial Park in Newport. For those unable to attend, her service can be viewed through her obituary page on Munden Funeral Home’s website. The service will remain on the Funeral Home website for 90 days. 

Yuli was born on October 8, 1996, in Tabasco, Mexico. Known for her precious faith, Yuli had a profound love for Jesus throughout her life. Yuli took great pride in her name, "Angel," and found inspiration in its significance as a messenger of God. Her passion for Christian music not only uplifted her spirit but also served as a heartfelt expression of her joy for the Lord.

Family was of utmost importance to Yuli. She cherished her role as an aunt to her beloved nieces and nephews and took immense joy in her connections with them. Additionally, Yuli had a special fondness for her fur babies, her Chihuahuas, Chispita and Muñequita, whom she loved dearly.

Those remaining to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Ever Santamaria; mother, Irma Angel Angel of Morehead City; father, Estanelao Zacarias Angel of Mexico; sisters, Mauricia Angel Angel of South Carolina, and Maria de Carmen Angel Angel of Mexico; brother, Jose Angel Angel of Morehead City; and numerous special nieces and nephews.

Yuli was preceded in death by her brother, Daniel Angel Angel.

Yuli nació el 8 de Octubre de 1996, en Tabasco, México. Conocida por su fe y su gran amor por Jesus. Yuli siempre estubo muy orgullosa de sus apellido, «Angel Angel», y encontró inspiración en su significado como mensajera de Dios. Su pasión por la música Cristiana no sólo elevaba su espíritu, sino que también era una expresión sincera de su alegría por el Señor.

La familia era lo más importante para Yuli. Disfrutaba su papel de tía de sus queridos sobrinos y sobrinas. Además, Yuli tenía un cariño especial por sus bebés peludos, sus chihuahuas, Chispita y Muñequita, a los que quería mucho.

Recordando y honrando su memoria quedan su amado esposo, Ever Santamaría; madre, Irma Ángel Ángel de Morehead City; padre, Estanelao Zacarías Ángel de México; hermanas, Mauricia Ángel Ángel de Carolina del Sur, y María de Carmen Ángel Ángel de México; hermano, José Ángel Ángel de Morehead City; y numerosas sobrinas y sobrinos especiales.

Yuli fue precedida en la muerte por su hermano, Daniel Angel Angel.
