Yoshie Sansom, 85, of Newport, died Thursday, October 28, 2010, at Carolina House.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Monday at Munden Funeral Home Chapel.
She is survived by her sister, Tomoyo Shibata of Japan, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Munden Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choosing.
