W. Jack Saulmon

W. Jackson Saulmon, 78, of Davis, died Thursday, November 26, 2009, at Pitt Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Monday at Munden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Mercer officiating. Interment will follow at Oscar Davis Cemetery.
He is survived by two sons, Danny Saulmon of Savannah, GA and Tony Saulmon of Sea Level; daughter, Jackie S. Ramirez of Jackson, NJ; step-son, Robert Dean Willis of Davis; three brothers, Bennett Saulmon of Atlanta, GA, Bruce Saulmon and Tom Saulmon both of Morganton; three sisters, Patsy Peterson and Jane Link both of Fort Madison, IA and Alma Gates of Morganton; 11 grandchildren
and nine great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Jean Willis Saulmon, his father and mother, Ed and Alice Saulmon, and a brother, Donald Saulmon.
The family will receive friends 2:00 - 4:00 pm Sunday at Munden Funeral Home.
