William "Billy" David Temple

William “Billy” David Temple, 42, of Havelock, passed away Saturday, November 28, 2015 at CarolinaEast Medical Center.
Funeral services are to be private.
Billy was a lifetime resident of Carteret and Craven Counties. He worked in the logging industry for over 20 years, working at Temple Logging as the fourth generation of the family business. Billy loved working with his hands and was not afraid of hard work. He was a loving father, son, brother, and friend to many.
He is survived by his parents, Jack and Sallie Temple of Havelock; two sons, Jordan Temple and Corey Temple both of Havelock; brother, Jack Temple, Jr. and wife Sheila of Havelock; sister, Bettina Jahr and husband Sean of Yuma, AZ; maternal grandmother, Marge Sowle of Rhode Island; also many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
