William "Billy" W. Pollock, Jr.

William “Billy” W. Pollock, Jr., 59, of Newport, passed away Friday, July 6­, 2018, at Vidant Medical Center.

A graveside service, with military honors, will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 14, 2018, at Gethsemane Memorial Park, officiated by Rev. Bob Lowery.

Billy proudly served our country in the United States Army.

He is survived by his wife, Darla Pollock, of Newport; daughter, Christin “Chrissy” Fulcher and husband, Neil, of Wake Forest; son, William “Bill” W. Pollock, III and wife, Deana, of Newport; step-daughters, Stephanie Maloney of Newport, Wendy Lewellyn of Madison; step-sons, Michael Atkins of Four Oaks, Michael Mercer of Newport, Dylan Swigart of Newport; mother, Glenda Beck of Newport; father, William “Bill” W. Pollock, Sr. and wife, Alice, of Newport; brother, Michael Pollock and wife, Melanie, of Newport; and 13 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Pollock and brother, Mark Pollock.

Family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, July 13, 2018, at Munden Funeral Home in Morehead City.
