William "Bill" Washington Pollock, 84, of Newport, passed away on Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at his home.

The family will have a celebration of his life at a later date.

William, or Bill as he preferred, was born on January 12, 1937, in Silverdale, North Carolina, to the late Mann and Jessie Pollock. He is survived by his wife, Alice Pollock of the home; son, Michael Glenn Pollock and wife Melanie of Newport; sister, Hilda Rae of North Carolina; brother, Harold Pollock and wife Linda of Newport; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
