William "Bill" E. Cook, Jr.

William “Bill” E. Cook, Jr., 67, of Morehead City, passed away Wednesday, June 26­, 2019, at his home.

His memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 29, 2019, at Munden Funeral Home.

Bill was a kind and caring man who always had the right words to say and his commonsense approach to life was refreshing to all who knew him. He spent quality time with people and truly enjoyed his friends and family. His favorite pastimes included watching NASCAR, fishing or sitting on the deck in Duck, NC watching the waves.

He is survived by his mother, Ruth Crow Blackford of Morehead City; son, William “Patrick” Davis Cook of Morehead City; sister, Anitra Crow of Henderson; stepsister, Teri Gerli of Mt. Airy; stepbrother, Wade Blackford, Jr. of Morehead City; and many dear friends who he considered family.

He was preceded in death by his father, William E. Cook, Sr.

Family will receive friends following the service on Saturday, June 29, 2019, at Munden Funeral Home and other times at the home of Ruth Blackford on 3303 Old Gate Rd., Morehead City, NC 28557.
