William Lawrence "Larry" VanEsselt

William Lawrence “Larry” Van Esselt IV, 54, of Havelock, passed away Tuesday, June 9­, 2020, at his home.

Larry was born in Pasadena, California to the late William Lawrence Van Esselt III and Sherry Grace Talbot on May 28, 1966.

Larry had so many great friends, co-workers, and his supportive employer, Mike Luzzadder who came to help him and encourage him. He loved to cook and have barbeques and always enjoyed having his friends and family nearby. Gardening was another favorite pastime for Larry, especially when he was planting flowers. Larry was also an enthusiastic NASCAR fan and always enjoyed going to the races.

He is survived by his stepfather, Calvin Miller of California; sister, Anna Stickney and husband Tom of Lockport, NY, Susan Luhmann of Havelock; brothers, John Miller and Mathew Miller, both of Havelock; nieces, Krystal Coble and husband Brandon of Maryland, Kerri Loughran of Newport and Savannah Luhmann of Havelock; nephews, John Stickney of Lockport, NY, James Stickney and wife Jennifer of Pendleton, NY, Joel Stickney of Lockport, NY, Tyler Stickney and wife Cayliegh of San Diego, CA and Austin Luhmann of Newport; aunts, Patricia Talbot, Cindra Layton, Belle Riley and husband Donald; uncle, Louis Talbot; many cousins; and several great nieces and nephews

He was preceded in death by his aforementioned parents, and uncle, Robert Talbot Jr.
