William Gene Russell

William Gene Russell, 68, of Bogue, died Thursday, January 1, 2015 at his home.
A service will be held 4:00 pm Monday at Munden Funeral Home Chapel with Keith Russell officiating.
Gene had a passion for music and antique automobiles. He loved being on the water and fishing. He was a hard worker who loved his job at SPX Corporation.
He is survived by his wife Bunny Russell of the home; a son William Joseph Russel of Bogue; three brothers Wade Russell and wife Freida of Bogue, Major Russell and wife Rhonda of Maiden, NC, and Tony Russell and wife Cathy of Ocean, NC; a sister Brenda Futrell and husband Elton of Bogue; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Lionel and Doris Russell, and a brother Douglas Edward Russell.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
