William "Dave" McCausley

William “Dave” McCausley, 59, of Hubert, North Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at Onslow Memorial Hospital.

A celebration of Dave’s life will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, December 14, at Bear Creek Baptist Church in Hubert, NC.

Dave was born on September 5, 1965, in Jacksonville, NC, to the late Willie and Kay McCausley. He attended Bear Creek Baptist Church where he enjoyed his church family.

Dave's talents were vast, and he was known for his remarkable carpentry skills and his unwavering commitment to helping others. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to open his own paint company where his extensive knowledge and kindness helped numerous individuals over the years. In addition to his business ventures, Dave also had a deep love for farming. He took great pleasure in working the land and cherishing the rewards of each harvest.

Dave will be lovingly remembered as a devoted husband and an extraordinary father. 

Those remaining to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 11 years, Kendra McCausley; son, Richard McCausley of Maysville, NC; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Ray and Peggy McCausley and Willie and Julie McCausley.

In addition to his parents, Dave was preceded in death by his sister, Rhonda McCausley.
