William Arthur Henderson

William Arthur Henderson, 86, of Morehead City, passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Carteret Health Care.
William proudly served his country in the United States Army for 20 years and nine days.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday, April 10, 2017 at Temple Baptist Church with the Rev. Terry Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Park with military honors.
William is survived by his wife of 21 years, Doris Henderson of the home; daughters, Phyllis Harlow and husband Eldon of TX, Cynthia Brown and husband Tom of Siler City, Sharon Willis and fiancé Chris Qualter of Havelock; son, Gregory Henderson of Texas; stepson, Bradley Golden and wife Sandy; grandchildren, Lisa Scott of LA, Christopher Scott of LA, Billy Johnson of TX, Brian Johnson of TX, Brent Johnson of TX, Kenneth Willis of Swansboro, Sherry Frazier of Siler City, David Williams of LA, Brandy Saylors of TN, Jaclyn Henderson of TX, Michelle Henderson of TX, Chad Henderson of Texas; step granddaughter, Kayla Golden, Danielle Golden, numerous great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents James Henderson and Lena Cole Henderson; son, Dennis Scott Henderson.
A visitation will be held from 2:00 – 3:00 PM on Monday, April 10, 2017 at Temple Baptist Church.
