William Edward Guthrie, Jr. 66, of Morehead City, died Wednesday November 14, 2012 at home with family.
The family will conduct a memorial service 4:30 Saturday November 24, 2012 at S. 11th Str. Morehead City, Joey Cannon officiating.
Wiiliam retired from Cherry Point NADEP with over 30 years of service.
He is survived by his sons Scott Guthrie of Morehead City, William Edward Guthrie, III and wife Angie of Hope Mills, and Timothy L. Guthrie of Newport: six grandchildren: brother John Lee Guthrie: uncle Alex M. Lewis of Raleigh: nephew Ian Guthrie of Morehead City: and special friend Kaylyn Lee of Harlowe.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Carteret Home Health and Hospice c/o Carteret General Hospital 3500 Arendell St. Morehead City, NC 28557.
