William Gordon Fulcher

William Fulcher, 75, of Morehead City, went to be with his Lord on Thursday, April 16, 2015 peacefully at his home in his sleep with his wife by his side.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, April 19, 2015 at Munden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Karl Zorowski officiating. Graveside will follow at Bayview Cemetery.

William graduated from Morehead City High School, and Louisburg College and Craven Community College. He spent his career as a Cost Accountant and retired from Pak A Sak food stores. He served his country in the Coast Guard Reserves. In his spare time he collected duck decoys and enjoyed spenting time in the mountains, especially at Cade's Cove, TN. William was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother that looked forward to get-togethers with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years Connie Lawrence Fulcher of the home; a daughter Dyana Fulcher Willis and husband Donnie of Gloucester; a son in-law Chris Mason of Otway; a sister Emma Fulcher Macomber and husband Ed of New Bern; a sister in-law Julie Guthrie Fulcher of Morehead City; grandchildren William Christopher Mason, and William Tyler Willis; nieces and nephews Angela, Stephen, Michael, Meredith, and Laura; and kitties "Stormy, Sweet Pea, and Lacey".

He was preceded by his parents Leslie and Sudie Fulcher, a daughter Lesley Fulcher Mason, and two brothers Leslie Earl Fulcher, and Larry Edward Fulcher.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
