William Frank Derrick, Jr., 59, of Newport, died Monday December 24, 2012, at his home.
A memorial mass service will be held 11:00 Friday at St. Egbert's Catholic Church with Rev. Tom Davis officiating.
Mr. Derrick attended St. Egbert's Catholic Church. He served in the US Navy for four years, and retired from Cherry Point Facilities Maintance (2008) after 34 years of employment.
He is survived by his wife Deborah Derrick of the home: two daughters Natalie Derrick of Newport, NC, and Donna Macklin of Newport, NC: two sons William Derrick of Newport, and Chris Derrick of Newport, NC: his mother Gertrude Derrick of Philadelphia, PA: a sister Diane Bernhardt of Philadelphia, PA: a brother Bob Derrick of Philadelphia, PA: grandchildren Ezekiel, and Mackenzie: and a nephew Jason Bernhardt.
