William "Edsel" Bell

William "Edsel" Bell, 92, of Harlowe, died Friday, February 6, 2015 at Carteret General Hospital.
A funeral service will be held 12 pm Monday, February 9, 2015 at Harlowe United Methodist Church with the Rev. Kelli Sorg officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
Edsel was a lifelong member of Harlowe United Methodist Church, and he retired from the Department of Transportation after 32 years.
He is survived by a son in-law John M. Taylor of Harlowe; one sister Eloise Turner of Harlowe; three brothers Carl Bell of Hughesville, MD, Roger Bell of Conyers, GA, and David Bell of Raleigh, NC; five grandchildren Scott, Ricky, Karl, Jason, and David;
He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years Ida Bell, children Tommy, Obie Nash, Faye Taylor, sisters Blanche Williams, and Lina Bell Bowlin, and brothers Cecil Bell, Royal Bell, and Clyde Bell.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
