Wesley Goodwin

Wesley Goodwin,94, of Atlantic, died Friday, December 18, 2009, at Crystal Bluffs.
Mr. Goodwin was a longtime waterman and craftsman. He was a volunteer at the Core Sound Waterfowl Museum, the Maritime Museum, and the Beaufort Historical Society.
Services will be held 2:00 pm Monday at Munden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Harris officiating. Interment will follow in Carteret Memorial Gardens.
He is survived by two daughters, Janis F. Goodwin of Beaufort and Dora Guthrie and husband Sammy of Marshallberg; two granddaughters, Jackie Willey and husband James of Beaufort and Sheena Midgett and husband Luke of Marshallberg; a grandson, Joey Guthrie and wife Chelsea of Marshallberg and three great grandchildren, Erin Midgett, Jared Willey, and Wesley Guthrie.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Goodwin; parents, Emma and Harry Goodwin, sister, Elizabeth Rice and four brothers, Wilbert Goodwin, Robert Goodwin, Harry Goodwin and Vernon Goodwin.
The family will receive friends 5:00- 7:00 pm Sunday at Munden Funeral Home.
