Wayne Teeter, Jr.

Wayne Teeter, Jr., 69, of Ocracoke, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2014 at Carteret General Hospital.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday at Smyrna Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Ivey Belch and Rev. Ricky Nelms offciating. A funeral service will also be held at 11:00 am Friday at Assembly of God in Ocracoke with Rev. Ivey Belch officiating. Interment will follow at Ocracoke Community Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Ada Teeter of the home; two step-daughters; sister, Linda Garrish of Ocracoke; brother, Carl "Toad" Teeter of Port St. John, FL; two step-grandchildren, a niece and several nephews, also several great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Belinda Styron Teeter, and his parents, Frank Teeter, Sr. and Iona Williams Teeter.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Smyrna Pentecostal Holiness Church, 85 Hwy 70 E, Smyrna, NC 28579 or Assembely of God, PO Box 68, Ocracoke, NC 27960.
