Wayne O. Davis

A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Monday at Gethsemane Memorial Park.
Mr. Davis served in the US Air Force and retired from Civil Service at Cherry Point after 30 years. He was part owner of The Party Place in Morehead City. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Davis; two daughters, Dawn Taylor and husband, Lee of Newport and Hope Willis and husband, Dave of Morehead City; sister, Becky D. Price and husband, Al of Rocky Mount; four grandchildren, Michael Wayne Locklear, Tiffany Dawn Taylor, Morgan Carol Willis and Doyle Leroy Taylor, IV; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ollie and Sennie Davis.
The family will receive friends 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Sunday at Munden Funeral Home.
