Ward Earl Eysaman

Ward Earl Eysaman, 72, of Havelock, passed away Wednesday, January 30­, 2019, at Carolina East Medical Center.

Ward honorably served in the United States Marine Corp where he retired as a Master Gunnery Sergeant. During his time in service he served in the Vietnam Era.  Ward was a member of the VFW #2514 in Havelock.

He is survived by his long-time companion, Patricia Groover; daughters, Michelle Eysaman of Ilion, NY, Melissa Balch and husband Chris of Ilion, NY; son, Scott Eysaman of Ilion, NY; brother, Dick Eysaman and wife Linda of Ilion, NY; many numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and his beloved fur baby, Sophie Mae.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ward and Bertha Eysaman.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent to the American Heart Association at 4217 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, VA 23060.
