Wanda Joann Garner. 65, of Newport, died Friday December, 14, 2012, at Carteret General Hospital.
A funeral will be held 2:00 Monday at Munden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.John Shackleford officiating. Interment will follow at Broad Creek Community Cemetery.
She is survived by three daughters Melody Shaver of Maysville, Wanda Thome of New Bern, and Tiffany Loraine Slade of Greenville: seven grandchildren: five great grandchildren: and one sister Linda Carson of Mississippi.
She was preceded in death by her ex- husband Denard Garner and her son Denny Garner.
Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 pm Sunday at Munden Funeral Home.
Flowers are welcome or memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society 930-B Wellness Dr. Greenville, NC 27834.
