Wanda Lee Bruce

On Wednesday, January 11, 2023, Wanda Lee Bruce, loving mother, passed away and is now in the arms of Jesus. She was eighty-two and passed in her home with family surrounding her, Bobby, her son, Vinetta, his wife, and Steve, her brother. There are also three dogs she loved dearly: Kalli, Bear, and Mia. She would spend time loving on them. Wanda had been suffering from COPD for several years and suddenly became worse in the past month requiring hospice. She is further survived by a daughter, Wandalee and son affectionately called Donnie, along with multiple grandchildren.

Wanda loved to read, mostly romance, her favorite authors were Nicholas Sparks and Danielle Steele. She also loved to travel and sightsee. She loved moving down to North Carolina from Massachusetts, primarily for the weather and to be near the ocean. She had the opportunity to visit the Outer Banks and some of the islands.

Wanda’s wishes were to be cremated with her ashes dispersed into the ocean with her son’s Joey and brother Russell.
