Walton Moore Day

Walton “Bink” Moore Day, 77, of Otway, passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at Carteret Health Care.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, November 6, 2016 at Lupton Cemetery on Cedar Island with Margaret Daniels officiating.
Walton was a retired tug boat captain. He served his country for eight years in the Army, spending most that time stationed in Germany.
Walton is survived by his brother, Ray Daniels of MD; sisters, Janette Gillikin and husband Kenneth of Bettie, NC and Margaret Daniels of Smyrna, NC; cousin and special friend, Glenda Gillikin of Bettie, NC; 3 nieces; 1 nephew; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Day; mother, Millie Daniels; and sister, Carol Rose.
The family will receive friends following the graveside service.
