Vonda (Buck) Scott

Vonda B. Scott, 54, of Morehead City, surrounded by her family, went to be with the Lord, Saturday December 3, 2011at Duke University Medical Center.
Mrs. Vonda was a very active member at Crab Point Free Will Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, sister,daughter, aunt, cousin and friend.
A funeral service will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday at Crab Point Free Will Baptist Church with Pastor Stanley Earl Buck, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Park.
She is survived by two sons, Shane Wadell Scott and Justin Allen Scott both of New Bern; her parents, Stanley Earl and Edna Wade Buck; a sister, Valley Buck Chadwick and husband Ronnie Wayne Chadwick of Newport; and two brothers, Stanley Earl Buck, Jr. and wife Peggy B. Buck of Tarboro and Rocky Walter Buck of Newport.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Scott.
The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm Tuesday at the church.
