Virginia Mae (Faucette) Griffin

Virginia Mae Faucette Griffin, 102, of Morehead City, passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at Harborview Health Care Center.
A funeral service will be held 10:00 am Saturday, October 25, 2014 at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church with Father John Pollock officiating. Interment will be 3:30 on Saturday at Faucette Family Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids.
Virginia was very loyal to family and faithful to her God. She was a lifetime member of Hawkins Chapel United Methodist Church in Roanoke Rapids and became a member of St. Andrew's after moving to Morehead City seven years ago, and she was a Sunday School teacher for over 43 years. She was born and raised in Roanoke Rapids, and enjoyed crochetting, and gardening.
She is survived by three daughters Joyce Livengood and husband Norman, Jr. of Atlantic Beach, NC, Esther Burd of Rocky Mount and Atlantic Beach, NC, and Geraldine Guinn and husband Robert of Shreveport, LA; ten grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband of almost 60 years Johnnie Griffin, and a son Arnold Griffin.
