Virginia Lee Brown, 67, of Newport, died Saturday, May 29, 2010, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Brown was a member of The Sanctuary Church in Newport.
Services will be held 4:00 pm Wednesday at The Sanctuary Church with Minister Ted Erskine officiating Interment will follow in Amariah Garner Cemetery..
She is survived by daughters, Tammy J. Dixon of Havelock, Carolyn L. Shoop of Sanford, Rachel M. Siddons and Jacqueline L. Boyette, both of Newport; sons, Charles M. Davis, David A. Davis, Jack A. Denton, all of Newport and Allen L. Denton of Greenville; sisters, JoAnn Kaylor. Phyllis Dow, Anita St. Germain and Carolyn Alva; brothers, Robert Bennett, Donald Bennett and Bill Bennett; 23 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
