Virginia (Conrad) Ausband

July 5, 1921 — April 21, 2012

Virginia Conrad Ausband, 90, of Sea Level, died Saturday, April 21, 2012 at Carteret General Hospital.
Mrs. Virginia was the daughter of Virgil William and Mary Pearl Mock Conrad. She married Frank C. Ausband on December 24, 1941.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her son, Robert , brothers, Gordon and Philip Conrad  and sister, Judy Edgerton.
She graduated from Guilford College, was a member of Kernersville Moravian Church where she was a member of Kathleen Korner Circle, a Bible Study leader, past President of Women’s Fellowship and past member of Women’s Provincial Board.
She is survived by two sons, Dr. Stephen C. Ausband and wife, Melinda of Halifax, VA and F. Patrick Ausband and wife, Kathy of Beaufort, NC; daughter, Mary Dunn of High Point, NC; grandchildren, Dr. Stephen C. Ausband and wife, Ginger, Elizabeth Ausband Trible and husband, Peter,
Zachary Ausband and wife, April, Joshua  Ausband and wife, Rema, Evan Ausband and wife, Cheryl, Margaret Dunn, Ethan Dunn, Caleb Dunn, Kealey Dunn; great-grandchildren, Melinda Ausband, Rebecca Ausband, Virginia Ausband, Davis Ausband, Virginia Trible, Laith Ausband, Layton Trible, Camden Ausband, Zaine Ausband, Conrad Ausband, Ewan Trible.
She is also survived by her sister, Madge Conrad Bean of Wilmington NC.
A memorial service will be conducted by the family on Saturday, April 28th at 11:00 am at Snug Harbor on Nelson Bay in Sea Level with Rev. Paul Harris, Rev. Danny Anderson and Rev. Eddie Brookshire officiating.
An Internment  of ashes will be held at a later date at Kernersville Moravian Church in Kernersville, NC.
