A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Saturday at Vergie Mae Cemetery with Rev. Brad Williams officiating.
Virgil enjoyed most of his pass time as a great boat carver.
He is survived by three children Virgil Craig White, Fred Michael White, and Pamela Joy Willis all of Beaufort: three grandchildren Chris White, Michael White, and Jeremy White all of Beaufort: two great grandchildren Kaeslyn White, and Liam White: two sisters Florence Fulcher, and Rita Glover: and two brothers Cote White, and Bob White.
He was preceded in death by his wife Melba White, brother Eric White, brother Morgan White, and a sister Dorothy Sadler.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 pm Friday at Munden Funeral Home.
