Virgia Mae Brickhouse Harker, 78, of Beaufort passed away Saturday, December 17, 2016 at Carteret Health Care.
Services will be private.
Virgia is survived by her four daughters, Karalyne Cole of Morehead City, Wanda Smith of Morehead City, Jennifer Seretti and husband James of Newport, and Sarah Harker Leary and husband Rodney of Newport; son, George Harker Jr. of Beaufort; grandson, of the home and whom she raised, Joshua Harker of Beaufort; her three sisters, and their families, Lois Cannon of Beaufort, Janie Cannon of Beaufort, and Julia Sorey of Lucama, NC; and one brother, and his family, Joseph Brickhouse of Greenville, NC; twelve grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren, whom reside in North Carolina, California, and Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by her husband of forty-six wonderful years, George Harker Sr.; sister, Barbara Hardison; and brother, James Brickhouse Jr.
