Violet "Rae" Riley Smith, 87, of Morehead City, died Friday March 16, at Carteret General Hospital.
A visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 pm Monday at Munden Funeral Home.
Rae enjoyed bowling, she bowled until she was 84 years old. She retired from Carteret General Hospital.
She is survived by her daughters Carolyn Franz of Virginia Beach, and Katherine Tougher and husband Wayne of Malvern, PA: four grandchildren Timothy Franz, Christopher Franz and wife Jenna, Eric Franz, and Lisa Prince and husband Douglas: five great grandchildren Colby Franz, Caitlin Franz, Christine Franz, Joey Franz, Hunter Prince, and Michelle Dicarlo.
She was preceded in death by her granddaughter Rene Dicarlo.
