Viola (Lambert) Sanders

Viola Lambert Sanders, 95, of Smyrna, died Tuesday March 6, at her home.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday March 8, at Smyrna Penetcostal Holiness Church, with the Rev. Rylan Jones officiating. Interment to follow at Sanders Family Cemetery.
Viola L. Sanders and Willard Sanders were married April 17, 1938, to this union were born 5 sons and 7 daughters. Viola and Willard were married 50 years. Viola was the oldest member of Smyrna Penetcostal Holiness Church.
She is survived by daughters Mary Ellen Dickinson of Beaufort, Waneta Jeanette Willis of Williston, Shirley Branton of New Bern, Evon Koonce of Vanceboro, Dorothy Alligood of New Bern, Grace Jenkins of Greensboro, and Vanessa Lewis of Raleigh: four sons Winston "Bubba" Sanders of Marshallberg, Leroy Sanders of Chocowinity, Pete Sanders of Smyrna, and Raymond Sanders of Smyrna: one sister Mady Caulder of Georgetown, SC: 28 grandchildren: 64 great grandchildren: and twenty great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Soles and Ellen Lambert, husband Willard Sanders, a son W.S. Sanders, two brothers and three sisters.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
