Viola Anna Levendosky Fulcher, 92, of Williston, NC went home to be with her Heavenly Father on May 5, 2015. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and loved ones.
Her funeral service will be held Friday, May 8th at 1:00 pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Harker’s Island. Interment at the Marshallberg Victoria Cemetery will follow.
Viola was born on Staten Island, New York, where she met her late husband Donald Gray Fulcher. They lived in New York, Newport News, Virginia, Fernandina Beach, Florida, Port Arthur, Texas, Marshallberg, Beaufort and Williston, NC. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was an avid reader, enjoyed music of all kinds, loved crossword puzzles and watching Jeopardy.
She is survived by her daughters Carol Mason and husband Phillip R. Mason, Susan Hill and husband Robert M. Hill, Jr, Karen Fulcher Piner , Veronica Conway and husband Lee Conway, her son Gary Fulcher, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Viola has one surviving sister, Anna Levendosky of Barnegat, NJ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Gray Fulcher and her son Donald “Eddy” Fulcher.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Thursday evening at the Church.
