Vincent Attisani

Dr. Vincent K. Attisani of 103 Norman Court, New Bern passed away on November 23rd.
He was born and raised in New Rochelle, New York, where he practiced dentistry for 35 years. Dr. Attisani was a graduate of Syracuse University and received his doctorate from New York University. He retired to New Bern (Carolina Pines) in 1998.
Dr. Attisani was a Navy Veteran of WWII, serving in the Philippines as a radioman aboard a motor torpedo boat. He was an Eagle Scout, an avid golfer, a member of Carolina Pines Golf Club, the CPRs, and the Tidewater Seniors.
Gardening was first among his pastimes.
He is survived by his wife, Lois Ellsworth Attisani; his daughters, Dawn Mooney, Deryl DePavw, Darcy Attisani, Darbi Billington; his son, Dodd Attisani, ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
