Vince Surdousky, 88, of Morehead City, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at his home surrounded by his wife and daughter.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Sunday at Impact Church with Rev. Nelson Hopkins officiating.
Vince retired to Morehead City from Norfolk, VA in 2002. He served in the US Navy, and Merchant Marines. He was an avid gardner, golfer, fisherman, animal lover, and cook, especially known for his smoked salmon. He was a loving husband, and father, and will be missed by many.
He is survived by his wife Charlotte Surdousky of the home: a daughter Terri Surdousky of Morehead City; a grandson Jason Campobasso and wife Kelly of Atlanta, GA; two sister in-laws Martha Ferguson and husband Robert, and Dorothy Dyche of Marietta, GA; two brother in-laws John Sweitzer and wife Letricia of Alanta, GA, and Bill Sweitzer and wife Marye of Rome, GA; several nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and his beloved companions Mikey, Mollie, Kiki, Mysti, Cotten, and Hobey.
