Victor Adam Husek

Victor Adam Husek, 70, of Newport, passed away March 23, 2016 at Crystal Coast Hospice House.
The family will conduct a memorial service at 11:00 am Saturday, April 2, 2016 at South Banks Community Church located at 5386 Highway 70 West in Morehead City.
Victor was a loving father and husband who was a skilled craftsman and enjoyed working on many projects from building homes, rebuilding boats, and fixing cars. He loved being on the water and spent many years sailing with his wife and three sons.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Margaret Husek; sons Adam Husek of Beaufort, NC, Chris Husek of Newport, NC and Zachary Husek of Newport, NC; daughter Valerie Husek of Chico CA; grandsons Jacob Canney of Sunny Vale, CA, Jason Husek of Sunny Vale, CA, Jordan Husek of Chico, CA and Kirk Husek of Chico, CA; granddaughters Riley Canney of Paradise, CA, Emma-Leigh Page Husek of Newport, NC, Teagan Husek of Chico, CA and Madison Husek of Chico, CA; great-granddaughter Charlie Porter of Paradise, CA and great-grandson Shiloh Armstrong of Paradise, CA; brothers Michael Husek, Amsterdam, NY and Vernon Husek of Rensselaerville, NY.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Laura Canney.
