Vickie Renee' Mabe

Vickie Renee' Mabe, 46, of Newport, went to be with her Lord, Friday, June 7, 2013 at her home surrounded by family.
A funeral service will be held 1:00 pm Monday at Munden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Barbara Landry and Rev. Larry Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Park.
Vickie never met a stranger. She was a warrior for the gospel of Jesus Christ. She went on several missionary trips to Sierra Leone, Africa, Ireland, Germany, Italy, and the Netherlands.
She is survived by her mother Jean Mabe of Newport: two sisters Pam Kaiser of Cape Carteret, and Deborah Walters and husband Tim of Kernersville, NC; two nephews Jordon Walters, and Dane Walters; and dear friend Kayla Thomas.
She was preceded in death by her father Alvin Mabe.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 pm Sunday at Munden Funeral Home.
