Verna "Sue" Willis

Verna “Sue” Willis, 64, of Davis, passed Monday, November 29, 2010, at her residence after a long battle with leukemia.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Wednesday at Oscar Davis Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Jimmy Mercer and Rev. Jay Winberry officiating.
Mrs. Willis was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and attended Davis Original Free Will Baptist Church. In her earlier years she was employed with Beaufort Drug. She was then employed with Luthur and Sons up until her illness.
She is survived by daughters, Valerie Lewis of Beaufort and fiancé Eason Wooten, Kimberly Brittingham of Cedar Island and husband Buddy, Lorena Goodwin of Beaufort and husband Steven; grandchildren, Travis Brittingham, Justin Lewis, Brennan Lewis, Bailey Brittingham, Nicholas Brittingham, Austin Goodwin, and Brian Goodwin; sister, Barbara Marshburn of Marshallberg; brother, Thomas Hill of Tampa, FL; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harry Moore Willis, son-in-law, Brian Lewis, and her parents Vernon Wesley Hill and Bernice Congleton Hill.
