Vanette Shoop

Vanette Shoop, 34, of Newport, NC, passed away on July 31, 2021.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

She loved her family and her kids. She loved to travel especially to California. Vanette played volleyball before graduating from J. F Webb High School in Oxford. She enjoyed helping people and sharing photos of her travels. You could find her outside enjoying a long walk on the beach on a clear Carolina night.  She enjoyed coloring, doing hair and make-up.

She is survived by her mother, Carolyn Shoop; daughters, Hollie Marie Shoop and Brooklyn of Newport; sons, Jax and Isaiah of Madara, CA; sisters, Virginia and husband Ricky Parker of Newport, Ashley and husband Caleb Glover of Sanford, NC, Ekho and husband Sean Belka of Washington; brothers, Michael and wife Tammy Shoop of Washington, Kenneth Miller, Jessie Miller, Patrick Shoop of Newport, Sir William Shoop of Mount Olive. Furthermore, Vanette’s partners in crime, Jenna and Anthony Dutra, of Madara, CA.

She has been united with her father, Michael Dean Shoop, may they guide and protect us forever and always
