Valerie Dawn Piner Yeomans, 45, of Otway, died Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at her home.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday at Smyrna Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Jack Mumford officiating. Interment will follow at Piner Gillikin Family Cemetery.
Valerie is survived by three aunts Carol Smith and husband John of Otway, Faye Lawrence of Beaufort, and Minnie Pollock of Otway; five cousins Vickie Jones of Beaufort, Andrea Tosto and husband Pat of Beaufort, Austin Goodwin of Beaufort, Katie Smith of Morehead City, and Jack Smith of Newport; sister Marie Minehart and husband Mike of Georgia; two nephews Mitchell, and Marcus; and her loving best friends.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life Dennis Harvey, her parents Darrell and Molly Piner, brother Patrick Piner, cousin Brandon Lewis, and grandparents Lemuel and Clara Gillikin, and Viona and Elwood Piner, uncles, Malcolm Lawrence and J.D. Piner.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 pm Friday at the Church.
Flowers are welcome or memorial donations may be made to Otway Christian Church 242 Gillikin Rd. Beaufort, NC 28516 or a charity of one's choice.
