Valerie Zoe (Tarbell) Milliman

Valerie T. Milliman passed away peacefully at home Tuesday July 10, 2012.
Born Valerie Zoe Tarbell, Aug 3, 1935 in Dubois, PA. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Morehead City.
She is survived by a brother Nevon Tarbell of Jamestown, NY, four children Glenda Milliman of Milton, NH, Gilda Parsons, Perry Milliman, and Sandra Weeks all of Morehead City. In addition to her children she leaves behind nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren, and her companion and friend Paul Jennings of Morehead City.
She was preceded in death by her husband Maj. Glenn P. Milliman.
A memorial service, celebrating her life, will be at the First United Methodist Church in Morehead City 11:00 am Saturday with Rev. Mike Freese officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the ceremony, in the fellowship hall.
