SSG Trevor K. Daniels, US Army, 39, of Valdosta, Georgia, passed away on March 31, 2025, in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
SSG Daniels life will be honored with a private celebration of his life.
Born on September 19, 1985, in Valdosta, GA, Trevor dedicated himself to his country by entering the military in January of 2014, achieving the rank of E6. As a medic, he displayed extraordinary dedication as both a student and teacher, passionately engaging in all things medical. He served honorably, deploying in 2018 and returning in 2019. Trevor was raised as a true gentleman whose life was characterized by his integrity, loyalty, humor, and kindness.
Trevor with his wife, Natasha, loved to travel, they enjoyed sun-soaked adventures, snowboarding, and relaxing in the hot tub. He was a fitness enthusiast but was also perfectly content staying home, relaxing all day, not needing to speak and was simply content just sharing the space with you. He was a man of few words but when he did talk it was with the intention of making the room laugh.
A devoted husband and caretaker, Trevor was often consumed with caring for others, with Natasha faithfully by his side. He supported her and others in every endeavor, whether it was new hobbies, adventures, career pursuits, or educational goals.
Trevor’s infectious smile, playful spirit, with just a little bit of mischief, will be fondly remembered by all who were blessed to have known him.
Those remaining to cherish his memory are his loving and devoted wife, Natasha Daniels of Kentucky; precious children, 1 daughter and 2 sons; mother, Tracy Harrison Weitala of Valdosta, GA; father and his wife who was a loving mother to Trevor, Keith M. Daniels and Joanna Cowart Daniels of Tifton, GA; 1 sister; 3 brothers; and father and mother-in-law, Noel and Elzbieta Flores of Vine Grove, KY.
SSG Daniels was a soldier who had been to war for our country. Though he did not lose his war on the battlefield in Afghanistan, he did succumb to the war in his mind. This is a story we hear too often. We share this here today to continue to bring awareness to mental health, to stay vigilant, even to those who say they are fine. If anyone is struggling, please call 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in SSG Daniels memory to Semper Fi and Americas Fund- Santa Margatira Rd., Bldg. H-49 Camp Pendleton, CA 92055 or TAPS (Tragedy Assistance Program For Survivors Inc.) 3033 Wilson Blvd., 3rd Floor, Arlington, VA 22201.
