Tracie Lloyd Williams

Tracie Lloyd Williams, 58, of Newport, passed away on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at Carteret Health Care.

Her memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 12, 2021, at Munden Funeral Home. Friends are welcome to attend the service. For those unable to attend, the family invites you to view the webcasting of the service through her obituary page on Munden Funeral Home’s website.

Tracie was born on February 10, 1963, in Norwalk, Connecticut and grew up in Newfane, Vermont. In 1991, Tracie made the transition from New England to Carteret County, North Carolina. She worked at Newport Family Diner for several years and was well known and loved by so many in her community. Crocheting and craft projects were Tracie’s specialty, her creativity and ability to design were a blessing to many who received her hand made gifts. Tracie also enjoyed long walks on the beach collecting shells.

She is survived by her daughters, Catherine Willard of Torrington, CT and Crystal Williams of Goldsboro, NC; brother, Darrell Lloyd of Goldsboro, NC; grandchildren, James Paul Smith and Abigail Smith; stepmother, Eileen Lloyd of Havelock, NC; and special cousins, Kellee Enos of Raleigh, NC, Mary Long of Harkers Island, NC and Beth Magnus of Wilmington, NC.

Tracie was preceded in death by her mother, Mae Williams and stepfather, Ray Williams; father, Paul Lloyd; and sister, Rebecca Baerg.
