Tony Cone

Tony Lynn Cone, 70, of Beaufort, North Carolina, passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at Carteret Health Care.

Tony was born on February 3, 1953, in Zebulon, North Carolina, to the late Charles and Martha Cone.

Tony had a deep love for fishing, spending countless hours on the water, patiently waiting for the perfect catch. Whether he was casting a line or spending time on the beach, he loved being close to the water and appreciated the beauty of the Crystal Coast. Another great love in Tony's life was beach music. The timeless melodies and infectious rhythms spoke to his soul, filling him with pure happiness.

More than anything Tony loved his family, who meant the world to him. Tony will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all those who knew and loved him.

Those remaining to cherish his memory are his daughter, Tiffany Thomas and husband Jeromy; brothers, Richard Bass and William Bass and wife Stacey; grandchildren, Krista Boyd and Benjamin Thomas; and his companion, Clora Willis.

In addition to his parents, Tony was preceded in death by his wife, Cora Morgan Cone and his sister, Sheila Bass
