Timothy D. McLemore

Timothy D. McLemore, 65, of Newport, North Carolina, formerly of Poland, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at Carteret Health Care.

Timothy was born on February 23, 1959, in Salem, Ohio, to the late Carl and Rebecca McLemore. He served his country honorably in the United States Navy for four years within the Hospital Company. Timothy went on to serve in the nursing field, assisting numerous patients over the years. His commitment to service exemplified his dedication and care for others.

In addition to his military service, Timothy had a variety of interests that brought joy to his life. He found delight in watching movies and TV shows, always enjoying the stories they shared. A good meal was always appreciated, and he enjoyed the simple pleasure of occasionally trying his luck with scratch-off lottery tickets.

Timothy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. His family was the cornerstone of his life, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

Those remaining to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Suzanne McLemore; daughters, Heather Craft (Phillip) of Newport, NC, Tara Kidd of Manteo, NC, Kalynda McLemore of Newport, NC, Madison McLemore of New Bern, NC, and Hallie Richey (Brian) of Newport, NC; son, Aaron Kidd of Bend, OR; brothers, Gary McLemore (Rhonda) of Chesapeake, VA, Lynn Stewart (Patty) of Columbiana, OH, and Jeff Stewart (Terrye) of East Palestine, OH; grandchildren, Darian, Zhoe, Piper, Zane, Chloe, Cody, Malcolm, and Veyda; and great grandchildren, Faewyn, Isaiah, and Layla. 

In addition to his parents, Timothy was preceded in death by his stepmother, Shirley McLemore, brother, Brent McLemore, and grandson, Aidan.
