Tia Marie Horton

Tia Horton, 24, of Havelock, passed away on Thursday, August 5, 2021.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, August 12th, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Please contact her mother, Tammy, father, John, or sister, Tiffany for details.

Tia was born in Havelock, NC and remained there until 2015, when she moved to Summerville, SC. She lived in Summerville for a couple of years before returning to Havelock, the place she always considered home.

She is survived by her twin sister, Tiffany Horton of Durango, CO; mother, Tammy Horton of Lawrenceville, IL; father, John Horton III and stepmother Christen of Summerville, SC; sisters, Lydia Horton and Brooklyn Horton of Summerville, SC; brothers, Jacob Horton of Lawrenceville, IL and John Horton IV of Summerville, SC; grandma, Lynda Horton of Summerville, SC; grandparents, Monica and Scott Carie of St. Francisville, IL; Caleb of Havelock, NC; uncle, Mike of Plymouth, NC; and Tia’s fiancée, Jerry Travis of Newport.
