Thomas Edward Robertson, Jr., 36, of Newport, died Tuesday January 1, 2013, at his sister's home.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 Saturday at Community Baptist Church of Newport with Rev. Ken Bartholomew officiating.
T.J. attended Community Baptist Church.
He is survived by his parents Tom and Nancy Robertson of Newport: sister Sherri Robertson of Newport: brother Michael Robertson of Newport: nephew Chandler Fulford of Newport: paternal grandparents Sheila Culpepper of Morehead City: paternal step grandparent Barbara Robertson of Newport: and several aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather James Carl Robertson, Sr., and maternal grandparents Rudolph E. and Genevieve Joseph.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Community Baptist Church 7648 Highway 70/ PO Box 1119 Newport, NC 28570.
