Terry Williams

Terry Williams, 72, of Newport, North Carolina passed away peacefully on Friday, March 14, 2025, at her daughter’s home in Tennessee.

A graveside service to honor Terry’s life will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 22nd at Amariah Garner Cemetery.

Born on November 2, 1952, in New Bern, NC, Terry was the daughter of the late Eugene Shelton Williams and Mary Brown Williams.

In her leisure time, she found joy in playing Bingo and online shopping. Her creativity was seen through the beautiful ceramic pieces she crafted.

Family was everything to Terry. She took great pride in caring for her parents as their health began to decline, providing them with love and kindness. Terry enjoyed spending time with her family and adored her grandchildren and all their activities.

Terry will be remembered as a loving daughter, amazing mother, proud grandmother and great-grandmother, and a supportive sister. Her presence will be missed dearly by all who knew her.

Those remaining to cherish her memory are her daughters, Tracie Tooker (Doug) of LaVergne, TN and Elizabeth S. Garner (David Jr.) of Newport, NC; son, Samuel Stallings (Christie) of Havelock, NC; brothers, Kerry Williams (Sheila Mason) and Randy Williams (Janet), all of Newport; grandchildren, Andrew Tooker (Kat), Alex Tooker, Ayden Tooker (Emma), Oliver Garner, Evren Garner, Christian Stallings, Haven Stallings, and Noah Stallings; and great-grandchildren, Jonah Tooker and Cameron Tooker.
